Introduction

MESCOE Alumni Association MESCOE Alumni Association of the college is known as Wadians’ Association and has been active since 1969 and meeting regularly twice a year viz. on st July, the College Foundation Day and on the Society Foundation Day.

Activities and support

Activities and support from the Alumni Association:

  1. Keeping up with the current trends and technology, Wadians connect through the internet via the Alumni Page on Face book
  2. Alumni counsel the current students and provide placement information through talks.
  3. Several alumni have come forward and instituted prizes for merit holders and other students. These prizes are given away during the Scholars’ Day and Gymkhana Day Prize Distributions.
  4. Tree plantation programmes are carried out on the campus with special emphasis on Neem Tree Plantation periodically.
  5. Participation in Blood Donation Camps in association with NSS/NCC.
  6. Organizes and sponsors inter-collegiate cricket, inter district ball badminton, hand ball games.
  7. Give talks at the NSS Camps. • Alumni meets of the Department of Zoology, Geology, Petroleum Technology, Computer Science and Physical Education take place on a department basis annually.
  8. Some prominent sportspersons who are alumni provide coaching in sports to the students.
  9. Provide feedback to start different courses depending on the need and demand of the Society and Industry

Introduction

The Modern Education Society has opened at the college its center for the external students of the commerce stream of the Savitribai Phule Pune University. The external students who have become an integral part of the student community on the campus and are provided with various facilities including Library,extracurricular activities etc. and enjoy instruction from the competant faculty at the college.
